HARD CANDY all 75% OFF!

I am still so excited to be learning about makeup and wearing it and all. Some of my favorite things from my Mom’s stash is from the company called Hard Candy.

So, I surfed on over to the Hard Candy website, not on sephora like I usually do, and EVERYTHING on the site is 75% off. Crazzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzy, I know!!! I have got to get my Mom to help me decide what I want and buy it for me, pronto. Hint, Mom.

Teen Makeup.

Trying to get my Mom to order me this book. I don’t know if they will have it at B & N (I still need to pick up another Summer reading book, lol)

It is written by a professional makeup artist and I think it shows some nice ways to learn to wear makeup. I either need this book or have to go to a makeup counter to learn some other ways. My Mom has no patience with me and has some pretty boring ideas. HELLO - I am 13!!!

I Am Allowed to Wear Makeup - Just a Little Bit!

My Mom and I had a sit down with my Dad. We needed to talk to him about wearing makeup. He sees some of my friends and that they are wearing a bit of makeup. He said he really doesn’t notice, but agreed that I could start wearing a bit. With the agreement that if he ever tells me to take it off or lighten it up, then I have to - no questions asked.

I am so excited!

So, I am going to be able to start to wear more colored lip glosses and colored lip balms. I really don’t like lipstick too much as I like to put it on all day, so lip gloss or lip balm is good for me. I am going to try a little bit of sparkly bronzer. I have a tan and would like to maybe just highlight it a bit. In the winter I will probably try some cheek blushes. I like the brush on gel kinds that my Mom gets a lot of, so I will try those first.  I can’t wait to try some eye shadow, My Mom thinks I should keep it simple with just one color ( a light one, ha!) but I will test them out. I do like sparkles and I like lighter shimmery colors anyway. I need to practice wearing mascara. I have very long and thick eye lashes and my eyes look almost naturally lined already, so only mascara will be needed. But I do need to practice and find one that does not make my eyes look too dark or clumpy and smudgey.

I will let you know some of my picks and maybe can even post some pictures. (Still working on this, my Mom doesn’t think I should have my picture all over the blog!!! Whatever!!!!!!)

I Have Four Eyes!

I knew it would happen. I got glasses. I have not been seeing as well as I should and my eyes were hurting from squinting. The eye doctor said, yes, you definitely need glasses. But then he also said, you can try contacts too.

Here are the glasses I settled on.

image

They are nice and comfortable, but I won’t be wearing them very much. I looooooooove my contacts. It is taking me less and less time to put them on my eyes every day, so I will be nice and ready for school. Taking them out is very easy, and I have only ripped one of them once. And my Mom wasn’t even mad (so strange!) she said it happens.

So, I have to say that having four eyes is pretty cool. I mean, having eyes that you can see well with is important.

If you wear glasses or contacts tell me about them!
